KING LEAR
Hers some pics of my 30 cube Im setting up. Thats expandable foam on the background and the rock work is drilled and pvc pipe supports it from falling over. I will use to Nano streams in the tank for circulation and they will be mounted behind the rock tower in the spot with n foam. I weill have a dsb in this tank to cover the pvc support pipes.
Hers some pics.

Im going to paint the foam today with Krylon fusion paint, grey colored so it will look more like a rock wall then yellow foam :)

The rock is all dead live rock, I will add a few pieces od live rock and puty them into places to cover up any exposed pvc pipe.

Lighting the tank will be one 250 watt mh, xm 10k nd probably one bulb of some type to make the tank look bluer too. The tank will drain into my basement into a 50 gall rubber made sump/ frag tank. Skimmer will be a little over kill but its what I have, asm g4 plus.
Working on the stand right now so I'll post those as I go.
Im planning on have 5-7 different sps corals in the tank only. a couple monti caps along the back of the rock tower, A table acro mounted to the foam wall and maybe a miili or 2 in there as well. I want the grown in look vs the frag fest look. But that takes time

It is that expanding foam "great stuff" covered in krylon fusion spray paint. Looks really nice Erik! The color made all the difference in the world.

New pics coming soon!

What color should I stain the stand?

Where's it going? It needs to flow with the room! Don't you ever watch HGTV? =)

For size ref. that snail is a tad bigger than a golf ball.
And the nano stream is hidden behind the rock work
Erik

Thanks, I think my secret was adding the sand and gravel ontop of the foam while it cured. Gave that rock look vs. the smooth look you can get with the foam

That foam looks incredibly natural. Are you going to put in all frags and just let them grow? Is the white PVC your overflows to a sump below? Looks great!
