30" lighting fixtures

Dipping my toes in the reef right now; thought to start with a 30x18x24 tank, the 36" just seems, well 6" too big! Wanting to have enough light in the tank for all options, but I'm having trouble finding suitable 30" fixtures above and beyond the 2x65 pc route. Can anyone point me towards an option?

PS even the word retrofit give me sunburn!

what about a metal halide pendant? my sister has a 30x30 cube and we could only find the 2x65, good luck and
