30 " Reefbrites

I'm looking at purchasing a 30" reefbrite strip from you for my 20 L tank but I'm not sure if I want the blue, white or 50/50. Do you have any pictures of what each one looks like on a tank?

i just brought the 48" all blue and love it. be very careful though to start them on low. very powerful.

I've been hearing great things about them. DO you have a pic of them on your tank? Also what other lighting do you have?

Also..does anyone know if the 50/50's have separate switches to allow the whites or blues only to be on? Thanks.

What are you wanting to use them for? Supplemental actinic? Main lighting? Etc.....

All of these have one power supply turning them all on or all off at the same time, they can not be controller independently in the same module.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for responding.

I'm running a 150w sunpod HQI (Phoenix 14,000k) but on such a shallow tank it doesn't have good coverage and I don't want to hang it so I'm looking for something that I can use with it to reach a better area. I'm also looking to eventually change over to just LED's so I wanted to get the best strip I can (which seems to be the RB's) and then in 6 months buy another (perhaps eventually getting 1 30" blue, 1 30" white and 1 30" 50/50) With the Sunpod already there I just want to get the best one for now that will work with it.

I think I would do the 50/50. You're basically wanting more coverage of light overall in the tank, not necessarily looking for more blue, or coloration. The 50/50 will give you a balanced look, without adding too much blue, or too much white, and at the same time spread the light output to the areas the halide is not covering right now.
