300 dd downstairs

Hi all, I am thinking I want to take the plunge on a 300dd tank but I am worried about carrying the tank downstairs on it's side, worried about stressing the seams
The doorway is not wide enough to carry the 36" wide tank downstairs so I would have to turn the tank sideways to get it through the doorway
Anyone here had to deal with this?
What do you guys think?

You can do it.. Just very carefully... I used heavy blankets and literally slid my tank down the stairs on its side.. not a DD, but similar dimensions.. Good luck..

i moved mine downstairs with no problems.

well, myself, and 5 others to help.

was pretty quick. used a Dolly with the tank on its side, wrapped in moving blankets. and lowered it down. These tanks are built pretty solid. just don't drop it, and make sure the people at the bottom, can hold the weight, cause when a 537Lb glass box wants to go down, it will

The tank will be fine as long as you don't drop it. Did you get any decent quotes yet for the tank?

try to keep the tank level so that its not swaying on its seams. Youll be fine though. :dance:
