I finally have water in this thing. I have a piece of live rock that looks very lonely in it. I put 200 snails in and have been feeding them to get the cycle going.

I also have the light up and running. It has four 250 W M'H and Four T5's. I stole the garage door runner idea from Anthony's pictures.

The skimmer is only running with two sedra's on and the inflow at about half, but producing some gunk already.

Cool timmy, LOVE the light fixture. How much substrate did you end up using?

I have to say, the waiting on a new tank is painful. You just can't wait to put stuff in it. Luckly I have made enough mistakes in the past to know to take it slow! I have two new pieces of LR in mine :)
 
Seeing that single lonley piece of live rock makes me want to sing:

"Lonley, I'm mr. Lonley" "I got nobody, for my own"

Woo Hoo! My post count just went up!
 
To be honest, I don't remember what Scott said the rating was, I know it was more than the @450 gal that I will have. I also don't know what the model # is, but R2-D2 hits it right on the head..lol

I'm waiting to add the SPS stuff, but it won't be long.
