300 gal Temporary water storage - used 55 gal drum

Qwiv

Persistant Perspective
Hey everyone. I am getting ready to do a tank move and all my water storage tanks are in use right now. I am only moving about 20 feet. I need to hold about 300 gal. worth of water and don't really want to buy another 300 gal rubbermaid. I was thinking of getting (6) of those 55 gal tanks some place around here lets go for $5, but I forgot how to contact them. Any help?

If someone has something I can borrow for a few days that would be sweet as well. Will trade for frag.

Here you go:

The drums can be picked up 9-5 M-F at 1201 Montgomery Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066
Please call me when you know when you want to come by so I can make sure someone is here.
Our telephone number is 650-553-9327

Please note, we are not, unfortunately, here on weekends.

It's big :D ...

I think the diameter is like 24" or 25". It's about 35" tall. I'm just guessing. I can get the measurement for you guy tonight.

do you know what do those drums used to store?

White one is used for vinegar. Blue one for soy sauce.

I sent him an Email a while back asking about availability, here was his response :

When asked about dimensions, here was his reply

I've got two that are cleaned, cut and ready if you're coming through Vacaville sometime. Can't go to Palo, sorry.

Thanx Elite:
sfsuphysics: If I end up getting any, you can come by and get one. That goes for anyone else. Last time I got theses I turned them into trash cans for my jobsites. Rather see a reefer get them.
sidog1: That is Top Secret, kidding.
goslugsgo: Thank you. I think driving to Vacaville would cost me $60 in gas. I do appreciate the offer.
