i haven't updated this in awhile,i had the new sump up and running for about i week till i figured out that there was a leak somewhere i thought it was in the plumping, turns out it was the bulkhead that was cracked.so the mag 12 went back into the display. you wouldn't think finding a bulkhead locally would be so hard but i wound up ordering 1 online. in the meantime i guess it was a good thing this happened because when i pulled the sump out 1 of my baffles broke loose so i resilaconed it today. so that will be ready to go when the bulkhead gets here.

in the mean time before/during the time while the tank was running right i bought a wrasse, blue linkia and of course some sun polyps there like 2 colonies on 1 rock 1 side is orange and the other side is yellow and pushing out nightly so there happy.there in a cave with flow from the vortec pushing right by them.
i can't wait till i get the tank back together i have all my lights on timers now and the macro is growing pretty quickly i'll proboly need to thin it out soon (althought i still need some bugs i think there all still in my 29 gallon lol)which is doing well my daughter is taking care of that tank with my guidence, today she wanted to frag some things. she made 2 frags of green star polyps, and a frag of some zoo's that where growing fast in my tank. and the mushroom rock has dropped off about 8 mushrooms in the 29 galllon before i put them into my tank there attached nicely to a big rock for her.and the rock they came off of needs to be cut back. and of the 3 loose one's that i put in my display a while back i've found 2 of them attached to rubble (future frags for sale) i just wish i had more live in the tank. but these things pop up and this is why we go slow setting up a new tank. i'll try to get some updated pics soon.

blue linkia? how long till that was lieing there dead?

the linkia is alive and well not sure what you mean?there's still plenty of flow betseen the vortex and the mag 12 running

today i got my bulkhead in the mail and of course i have to get ready for work shortly so hopefully tomorrow i can get my main pump and sump running agian.

yesterday i finally got a big addition of cleanup critters (like 3 times what i had)so hopefully things will start coming back together

tanks running great today before work i hooked up my auto top off now there's 1 less daily chore for the tank. it's almost to the point where i can just do my regular water changes and feedings and get the enjoyment out of the tank.
i started putting the stuff under the stand that i'll nedd regularly and considering this is a 6 ft tank i don't have alot of room i think i'm going to have to build a shelf/ storage unit for under the stand

good to here its comming along,we had to cut another chunk off of the blue milli it should be healed over in a few weeks, are you still intrested in it.

hey dane, thanks yes that will give me an excuse for a road, i work swing swifts but i'm usually off monday and fridays are they good for you?proboly during the day since i don't get much time with the kids

well it's official, i have done some fragging and there going to be growing in my sump, last night i made a nice mesh bag out of some window screening and the reef discs slid right into them and it's keeping the mushrooms on the reef discs. which is better then free floating method and covering with a plastic cup
