3000.600 Question

My 6100 siezed about a week ago. After soaking in vinegar for a couple of days I still could not get the impellor seperated from the body. In desperation I broke the impellor housing seperating the two pieces. I ordered another impellor assembly and today it arrived. Everything fits except the prop. My old impellor had a hole threaded into the shaft, this new one does not. All PN's were the same for the replacement pieces I bought as the original, at least I thought they were. Has the prop changed? I bought this from another reefer so I don't have a vintage, sorry. I did see something similar in a Tunze "How to disassemble a PH made after 7/2000". Everything is the same but this piece. Please help, don't know where to get or how to order the old shaft.

Thank you,
Charles

You must have ordered 3000.60 instead of 6080.60, the shaft is the only difference, and the screw for the prop. I will have some shaft only next week but for now I only have the full rebuild set 6080.60.

Thanks Roger,

Now I see the white shaft in the white background. Can I order from you, or better yet, trade 2 x 3000.600 for the 6080.60? I'll cover any shipping charges and added price diff. They are unused, one unopened, other will be repackaged as new. I'm willing to wait a week if I can "get the shaft"s from you. :). SPS have been hating life since I lost 1/2 the flow though.:(

If you can wait a week, my first shipment of the year should arrive Tuesday and it is mostly just parts, I could give you one shaft and screw at no charge and you can just switch over one of the sets you have. The 6080.60 costs about $5 more and I am willing to exchange the unopened one but that would likely take longer than just waiting for the parts to come in. I think the shaft and screw seperate are about $7.

Send a PM if you don't mind. I'll trade out the unopened one for a 6080.60 plus the extra $$. Thanks for the shaft and screw offer I'd like to get my other stream running ASAP. LMK how you would like to do this.

Thanks,
Charles
