roger, what would you recommend for this tank? It will be a mixed reef with an open aquascaping design. There will be SPS, mostly Monti's and Acro's in the upper portion of the scape.

I would recommend 1 tunze wavebox 6212 and 2 tunze 6205 on 7095 or 7096 multi controller.
The two tunze stream 6205 will be place in the back corner flow across the tank on interval II pulsing between 30%-100% for 1.5 sec for 30 sec. If you want to go with 6105 you will need 4.

Has all the issues with that new design been worked out?
I bought 4 of the nano ones when they first came out and was shocked at the low quality...noisy, plastic clips breaking, covers not fitting properly. This was the first nano pumps to come out so I am just hoping it has been sorted out by now.
I have had streams before and loved them. The nano design of pumps just were not the TUNZE quality I expected.

We have gone to great lengths to make sure that we do not have the same issues with the Stream 2's as we did with our Nano Steams, thus the extended time before the release. We have not had an issue to date with any of the new Stream 2's.
They Nano Streams have made leaps and bounds since their release as well. All issues that customers were having with them when they first came out have been corrected. If you are still having some issues with your Nano pump or it is broken send it in and let us have a look at it.
