Hi

my name is Loïc, I live in Belgium and 2 years ago I picked up this hobby. I started out with an Aquamedic Blenny to check out if this hobby was something for me. The answer was very clear ... YES!!!

About a year ago I started thinking about a bigger tank. To keep everyone at home happy I decided it would be a 90 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm tank. Not too big, but not too small either.

At that time I had already developed my preference to SPS coral ... acropora to be specific. This made it very easy for me to decide to go full ZEOvit. I had seen the beautifull colors ZEOvit could develop many times and I wanted something like that at home aswell!

My current equipment:
Return pump: Aqua Medic Eco Runner 3700
Skimmer: Deltec SC1455
KZ Magnetic ZEOvit Reactor S
Circulation: 2 x Tunze 6095
Lighting: ATI Sunpower 6 x 39W

As far as my ZEOvit dosing, for the first 8 months I only used the basics. (zeolites, zeobac, zeostart and spongepower) The results were good. Never had any problems with nitrates or fosfates, but not yet the typical exceptional corals you could expect from ZEOvit.

A little over a month ago I extended my dosing with B-balance, KFI, Xtra, Coral vitalizer and from time to time zeospur2.
Colors and growth reacted very well to this and up until today they are still improving.

Some pictures from how it started.

6 months since this last post and full tank shot.

This is how the tank looks at the moment.

Biggest change has been the introduction of a calcium reactor. I got tired of mixing and changing the balling containers, and I also had to monitor my salinity regularly because it raised pretty quickly.

Now with the reactor it's set and forget ...
