I am giving serious consideration to one of the 3140/2 skimmers for my 90 gallon reef. The biggest problem I have is height under the tank in the cabinet. This skimmer is listed as 19" high, and I have a max of 21" from the bottom of the sump to the bottom of the tank above. How much room is required for removing the collection cup? Also, Marine Depot's website list's a Built-in Depth: 10.2 to 11.4. Does this refer to how much of the skimmer needs to be submerged in a sump?
Thanks.

The built in depth does refer to the depth which needs to be submerged, You would need 4" of clearance to remove the cup on the current version so it is unlikely to work, The 9015 which will replace the 3140/2 in the fall will have a drain feature so it should work. Otherwise the 3130/2 would work as well and should be sufficient for a 90gal tank.
