3155 Controller

Hi Roger, I have a 3155 that is failing. Green (full) light and Yellow (pump on) lights come on when the water level falls below the optical sensor. I have fixed the connecitons as you suggested and that worked for a couple of days. It then started failing again and I replaced the pump. This did not help. Can I purchse a replacement 3155 controller?

If it is less than 2 years old it would be warranty, beyond the pump if the leads from the controller to the pump connector sat in water they may have oxidized and if the controller is corroded this can also be a cause. You can purchase the controller seperate but they are quite expensive.

Hi Roger, after a little more troubleshooting I found that the power supply was bad. I checked the output for 9vdc and found it was reading 12.85vdc. I checked the 12vdc setting and it was 12.2vdc. I purchased a new powersupply 9vdc and up to 800ma output, checked the output, read 9.2vdc, installed the new powersupply and now everything works perfectly.
