3155 Osmalator problem

Hi
I have a 3155 and it has ben a bullet proof system until the last couple of weeks. It shows the green light on the display panel and the water is below the float. I have tried soaking the optical and mechanical float in vinegar over night and cleaned with a tooth brush that didn't help. made sure the pump wasn't air locked in fact installed my spare pump just to be sure. I have unplugged it in an effort to reset it ad sometimes it comes on with the amber and green light and runs for 30-45 seconds but not enough to bring it up to the sensor. Any ideas?

Thanks

The water should generally be below the float, by assume you meant the optical sensor? How old is the unit?

yes it is below the optical sensor by a least a couple of inches. but the green light is on. The unit is about 18 months old and has never missed a beat

The optic sensor likely has a defect and has failed. Please send in the controller and we will replace the sensor. Include a note with your return address and phone number.
