3155 osmolater siphon effect on pump

Have a 3155 thats about 4 months old. Im having a siphon effect with the pump. The pump will kick on fill up the laser eye then shut off. However it will continue to drip forever. Even if i unplugged it. I have to blow in the feed line to get it to stop. My apex woke me up when my emergency float switch wad actived which means it pumped 6 gallons of RO water into my sump before i could shut it down. Looking for advice please. Thanks all

See situation 3, that is likely the cause, you need a shorter reservoir or a higher terminus for the hose.

rvitko thanks for your response! i does seem that situation 3 is what i have going one..... now for a solution.

i cannot shorten the reservoir, so what to be mean by higher terminus for the hose?

The end of the hose has to be above the water level of the reservoir, either the hose has to end higher up or the reservoir needs to have a lower water level.

got it man, i have an idea that i think will solve this problem. just got to figure out what size the tubing is on the pump... i think i remember it being 4mm?
