thanks hudds topman

Very nice set up so far - looking forward to your progress.

thanks a lot mate nice to have you along for the ride

Aqua scape came out really nicely.

thanks mutts,
I had it in my head from the very beginning what sort of layout I wanted and what corals would go where,
my last tank I used to see a coral and just buy it now I pick the coral it has to be the right type and shape.
1 this helps to creat the reef I imagine in my head and 2 stops me from impulse buying!!!!!!
1 of the tanks that inspired my rock was bons lagoon you can find it on you tube.

You left out curry! Ruby Murray Curry??? I still don't get it! Lol

haha,
cockney London rhyming slang you always miss out the last word.

Im glad they told you what it was thou.

it is time for a cup of you an me???

got to get that one!!

cheers acesq

couple more pics...........................

this is what I started the tank with vertex led illumina 360 with 4 colour pacs.

build quality was second to none and fantastic light but I took a gamble with the being enough for my tanks depth front to back and a gamble that did not pay off, these throw out a very wide spread of light but not enough for my tank.

my tank had been running just over a year las xmas and new years day a year ago I decided to do something with the fish tank wall itself make more of a feature.
I liked it white but just felt it was unfinished.

so I decided to clad the wall in split face tiles, expensive but gave me the look I wanted.

a few more fish and slowly had to do more decorating around the kitchen dinner as the mrs demanded!!

or for ace the trouble and strife!!

my urchin has a thing for shells!!!!!!!

my emperor called pickle is now nearly adult, he has grown loads he was about 2 inches when i got him and in two years he is now just under 5. love his colour and the way he cruises about

have nearly caught unto date now as I skimmed over the set p and last year of running.

been doing some updates in the garage and made some improvements so still bit to see.
I must say the triton method has been really good at keeping everything stable and been very straight forward.

one of my favourite across don't know the name but just keeps getting better

such delicate colours

yellow/green acro growing well.

this millie is one of the best I have seen given to me by a fellow reefer it is pink and has two tones of blue and is growing like a weed!!

love these again can't spell the species name, this was a week after going in so still abit pale after shipping hoping it will plate out.

alvapora with pink tips love the flow look this coral gives

thanks mate
Im sure you will have a nice tank mate,

Wonderful work mate! Keen on seeing how triton works out for you. Please keep us updated!

thanks a lot mark
To be fair the triton has been brilliant.

took me ages to decide to do it, as when I started doing this build I had always run ozone, uv and loved pellets.

I had already started to build it that way then decided to go triton so had to make some changes, and do some serious reading.

I had a few problems at the beginning but that would of been regardless of what system I was running.

my tank is very stable and fairly low maintenance.

my dosing has started to go up so jam thinking about running reactor with it to maintain kh.

hopefully will bring down dosing bit and keep it at a reasonable level.

as on big tanks can work out expensive.

but your corals get everything they need, no adding anything all in one.

so overall very happy with triton and hope more people state side start using

thanks
