what would you do tunze streams or closed loop for a 337 gallon reef? 6 foot longx 28heightx36 wide if closed loop i would need help researching any threads would be great thanks!

Tunze Streams
Pro's-
1) Easy to install and move around to obtain good flow
2) Fully controllable
3) Easiest way to each high flow's
4) No drilling required
Cons-
1) Expensive
2) Intrusive- can look ugly in the tank

Closed Loop
Pro's-
1) Non-intrusive - easy to hide
2) Relatively cheap to set up
Con's-
1) Fair degree of plumbing skill required to install effectively
2) Requires holes to be drilled
3) Non-flexible - once installed no option to redirect flow other than nozzles or loc-line
4) Requires additional equipment (i.e Ocean's Motions) to achieve surge

Of course final decision will depend on the livestock you plan to keep! However my personal choice on a tank of that size would be a combination of both a CL and Tunze Streams - best of both worlds!

closed loop. I hate any powehead in my tank. I've tried the Tunze pumps...just to big of an eyesore for my taste.

I would say go for streams.
Once I installed them I turned off my CL even do I have 2 SSÃ"šÃ‚´s.
Now the CL is on again, but just because I think that extra flow wouldnÃ"šÃ‚´t hurt.
