Its going to take some work to polish it back out but I think it will be worth it.

Awesome! What is the thickness of that acrylic? Looks like 1.5"+ on that top plane! Looks to be a lot of work but could be a wicked setup once completed.

My god... if you can get it buffed out, it will be a sexah beast. But man, that pics makes it look super jacked!

Top is 1.5" and the rest is 1". My brother has been working on it for the last two days wet sanding scratches. It still has a long way to go but he thinks it will come out fine.

Any idea why the top is thicker? Seems odd to me, not that it is a problem just wondering.

Did he decide whether it will be setup as SW or not?

You probably already know about Novish polish 1, 2, and 3 but if not check it out. It does an amazing job refinishing acrylic tanks.

I have no idea why it was built like that. Any way I passed the link on to my brother. I know he's been working on it a little everyday.

I would say its a custom form of euro bracing but thats just a guess.

I looks like euro bracing. I just didn't think euro bracing would use a thicker pane than the rest of the tank. It's sort of cool though, just makes it more unique.

He's got most of the major scratches sanded out now. Not sure when He's going to start polishing it though.
