GCarroll Ultimate Blue Stag aka Parillis Acro?

GCarroll Ultimate Blue Stag aka Parillis Acro?

Roberto, I believe I have the same acro you posted below. Given the fact that we are using the same lighting where do you have yours mounted in the tank?

Is it safe to assume this piece likes high flow and intense lighting?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Ow yeah Rotknee. It likes very very strong light and flow.

It's a Blue Parillis. Fast growing occurs only on this light and water conditions.

Hope I could help you.

Roberto

Roberto te felicito por tan lindo sistema !!

How many AI SOL lights would you recomend in my 300G reef tank ? 200 x 70 x 60 --> hight

Right now i´m running 3 modules of 120w leds

Thanks

Hello there. How is "el cementerio de la rigoletta"? (i don't know if this is the right way to write) hehe

Well, the number of units depens on what type of corals you will maintain on your tank.

If you have a heavy loaded SPS system, I would put 8 to 10 units. That depends on aquaspace too.

I recomend too the 70 degree lenses. They are awesome.

Thanks hermano.

Roberto.

It is called ¨cementerio de la Recoleta¨ one of the biggest and nicest inside the city. Obligatory walk if you have the time.

Right now i have SPS and LPS, but just starting with them. I plan on having SPS mainly. Have you bought the lights in Brazil, or did you brought them from the states ? If, where did you bought them ?

I notices you went from 10 AI's with 40 deg optics to 12 AI's with 70 deg optics. Did you loose par with the 70 deg optics and need to add 2 more? Could you get the same coverage with 10 AI's with the 70 deg optics?

Akrite

No, I just put those 2 more because I'm a light obsessed guy. 10 would do just fine.

Vlado4x4

I feed once a week ONLY with Braghtwell Reefsnow and Brightwell coralkollor together at night one day before the water change.

That's a blue parillis. Fast growing, rare (at least here in Brazil) and a really nice piece. Very very strong. And needs very strong water flow and light.

Thaks all you gays for the nice words. The tank is improving and new pics will be posted tomorow.

OK A little more pics.
