340g LED SPS tank from Brazil

Awesome!! Well done and I love the LEDs. I've been using them for a couple years now as well both SW and FW planted.

I've heard that this tank was taken down :(

Well given the lack of updates i would probably agree....

I hate it when someone posts pics of a stunning tank and then either never posts again or breaks the tank down without an explanation....

A friend of Roberto's posted in another thread that it was taken down, but no details on why.

bankerboy350, my config is:

12:00PM to 01:00PM = WH20%, BL50%, RY70%
01:00PM to 09:00PM = WH90%, BL70%, RY100%
09:00PM to 11:00PM = WH20%, BL50%, RY70%
11:00PM to 02:00AM = WH00%, BL00%, RY01% (with moon phase active)

Well that's it.

I hope it helps but be aware, if you are new to the AI fixtures or New to leds, I advise to start with 50% of the measures above unless you have a PAR meter to equalize the strenth.

Hi Roberto,

I did an experiment about a year ago with 50% of your settings (3/12/12).
I have 2 AI SOL Blues

I actually used the same times as you did as well. Now I probably should have stepped up the lighting after a few months but I left it at those setting until today (2/8/13). My softies did very well and have all doubled in size (of course lighting it self is not the only factor in this trail). My hard/lps corals unfortunately did not do well but this also was due to a lot of other factors as well. A couple of months into my experiment I was using the red sea foundations program but then stopped. During the program my LPS were thriving so I do not consider the lighting to be a factor in their deterioration.

Look wise I really like the tank. I think it shows very well even at 50% of the setting your using. I am actually going to move up to 100% of those original setting you had today. I am also going to start the foundations program again. I only have video of the original tank so I will take screen shots today and post hopefully by tomorrow.

Thanks!

This tank is amazing.

I was thinking about adding T5s to my Sol super blue just cause I've had it up for a couple months and lost some color in my pinks and reds. Most of my corals are from MH tanks. Did any of your corals change color (particularly reds or pinks) and come back later? My yellows, greens, blues are great.
