I have some questions before i set it up
1. how many GPH should my tank be
2 With the awkward stand i need a cube sump, eshops makes one but they are expensive, i also dont want a 10g, do i have any other options.
3. Should i go with the eshops 120 skimmer or the reef octopus classic 150int 6", one of the reasons I dont want a 10g sump is due to the fact that these skimmer will probably be to big.
4. would the glass holes 700 GPH kit work good for this system
5.What return would you reccomend for under $75
Any help would be appreciated

1. Depends 110% on what you plan to keep. I would generally recommend a minimum of 700GPH, though more is better if keeping hardy swimmers (clowns, tangs, anthias are all good examples but I wouldn't advise anything but the clowns off that list). For SPS if recommend even more, but it all depends on what you're keeping.

2. Can't help with that one. [emoji85] [emoji86] [emoji87]

3. I'd recommend the Reef Octopus, but I will let others with more experience with the Eshopps chime in here.

4. No comment also.

5. I've used Mags in the past with no issues. They make a little noise, but no more than the rest of my reef tank did. A Mag 7 can be bought for $70 on Premium Aquatics, a good retailer, and will push 500GPH at a 4-5' head (vertical distance from sump to display). IME they're very reliable. Highly recommended for a cheap pump.
