3ft maristar on 4 ft tank?

I currently have a 40g breeder and am looking at the maristar fixture. Bwould say there is a real good chance that this tank would eventually be upgraded to a 4ft tank (75/90/120). How would this fixture work on a tank that is 4ft long. I see Jeremy often recommend T5 fixtures that are not as long as the tank, but I am worried the reflectors would be too close to the middle.

Hi Ray,

I run a 36" Maristar on a 48" tank right now actually. The coverage is perfect, and actually much more aesthetically pleasing with the shorter fixture than a full length 48" fixture.
