3M EPX Plus Applicator: anyone have one?

I need to use a 3M product that needs a special caulking gun. Problem is that applicator is $50 and the glue is only $16.

I know its a long shot in the dark but does anyone have this applicator or know where I can rent one.

This is for a cool reef project, pics to come soon in a tank build thread. I will trade frags, just need it for a few minutes if someone has it.

I have a couple as well. they are at my work in NYC, but I could bring them. If you need any more of the glue, tell me the number and I can see if we have it at work, it will be MUCH CHEAPER than what you paid! Just have to give me a weeks notice as I have to get it when I am at work.

Thanks!! wish I had held out longer, knew I should have. Anyways it seems like it's a good tool to have.

bmb527 I don't actually have the glue yet. I am looking for 3M DP-8005. 2 or 3 tubes should cover me.

Also this stuff is at a 10:1 ratio. The gun I baught only comes with a 1:1 and 2:1 ratio plungers. Where do I get one of the 10:1 plungers?

Once I have this, I can start my 360G build thread :dance:

The stuff we use is called "fast-weld", but I am sure they make an equal product. It holds pressurized airplanes together! I will get the specs for the 3M and find one that matches, or at least try. I will post here ASAP.
