3rd Annual GRMAS Swap Saturday, April 12th 2008

Hi All,

Mark your calanders, the 3rd Annual GRMAS Swap will be Saturday, April 12th 2008. We are using the same room as the last two years - Howard Miller Community Center (which is in the Zeeland Public Library) in Zeeland, MI (14 South Church Street, Zeeland, MI 49464). Time will be 12-3 pm.

Table Information/Pricing: Tables are 6' long
1/2 Table: $10
Full Table: $20
Power: Add $5 - If you need power, reserve your table early, limited amount of these available.
Vendors/Sponsors: Contact Me (soperwen@charter.net)
People with tables reserved will be allowed in for setup at 11 am.

Admission:
$5/person, $8/family, includes a door prize ticket for smaller items given away during the swap. Allows you to sell up to 5 items. GRMAS, MASM, MMMC and WMMAC members all get in FREE (with proof of current membership).
Admission is included in table purchases.

Raffle will once again be one of the LARGEST in Michigan.

By the time the swap rolls around we will have even more sponsors. Items so far include: gift certificates (lots), lighting setups, light bulbs, auto top offs, Corals, fish, refractometer, GEO Calcium reactor, additives and much much more.

Not to mention all the nice frags that will be there. In years past there have been 200-300 people show up.

Not to mention Anthony Calfo will be in town that weekend. He will be at Aquarium Services/Blue Fish Aquarium after the swap for a meet and greet as well as a coral fragging workshop with the WMMAC club the following evening at their meeting.

Which tank? :lol: I have a new Envision Acrylic's tank in a crate in the garage ... want to volunteer?

No plumbing, I have that covered ... just building Light racks, cutting drywall, etc.

I'm trying to decide whether to go to the swap in Indianapolis or Zeeland on that day. Do you have any more info about those other events that will occur after the GRMAS meeting? I'd like to find more info about the Calfo events, but I haven't been able to find information. This would probably tip the scales for me in favor of a trip to Zeeland instead of Indianapolis. Any help would be appreciated.

Anthony Calfo will be at The Grand Valley Aquarium Club and The West Michigan Marine aquarium club with meet and greets at both Blue Fish Aquarium by Aquarium Services in Jenison and Mother's Reef in Parchment.

Schedule:
Saturday April 12
3pm Meet and Greet at Blue Fish Aquarium by Aquarium Services in Jenison located at 158 Baldwin. FREE PIZZA

7pm Meeting at the Grand Valley Aquarium Club at the Holiday Inn Express at US 131 and 68th Street. Anthony will do a presentation on the Marine Aquarium Hobby.

Sunday April 13
3pm Meet and Greet at Mother's Reef in Parchment located at 123 North Riverview. FREE PIZZA
6pm Meeting at The West Michigan Marine Aquarium Club at Jacqua Realty on Drake Road between Stadium and West Main. Anthony will do a frag demonstration with free frags while supplies last. Let us know what you would like to learn how to frag!
