4 gallon buckets of B ionic

How many of you use these? And unlike the gallon jugs that have a line for you to add RO/DI water to. The buckets don't. Instead of weighing out this much water and that much water. Does anyone know where the measurement line would be on the pale?

I have not used that particular size, but if you fill both gallons equally, it'll be close enough. Maybe someone will have seen this container before, and add some comments.

Thanks I don't know why ESV just didn't put a fill line on the bucket like they do with the 1 gallon jugs.

I have used it before on my larger tank before I broke it down. There is a mark on the container....unfortunately it is not easy to see so I did what bertoni said and filled each with the same amount of water believe it was somewhere around 3 gal and mixed never had any issues at all.

Funny thing is I did the same thing and found nothing either one would think that they would improve on these since I last bought one but I guess not. Good luck like I said I just made sure both were equal and went with it

Simply use a used gallon milk jug (or some other used gallon) to measure out four gallons.

Here's my other suggestion.....transfer the mix to a quality bucket...like an old salt bucket. The buckets Bionic uses are crap. My bucket cracked while sitting in my basement, leaking all over the floor.

Luckily it was an unfinished basement.

I wrote the ESV folks and they did nothing. Here is the bottom of the bucket where I circled the crack and put a line directly on the crack with a Sharpie.

Because of their non-response, I've gone back to Randy's DIY and couldn't be happier.

And it's not just me. At about the same time a fellow club member had the same issue.

thats the one I use for my tanks .

I dont add too much water, just enough to get all of it dissolved [about 2/3 of the bucket] then add the same for calcium.
