400 gal tank for sale ,,,

i ran across a 400 gal glass tank , nice too !! has oak stand/canopy BIG sump , Big pump , needs a bit of work to put canopy stand back together right, but its nice AND BIG. he will sell for 500 bucks out the door !!!! he had a 180 Clarity Plus acrylic Bow front that me and Casins03 just went and picked up for his office ,, its a nice tank for sure ,,,, need about 4 people to even think about picking up ,,its for sure a MONSTER of a tank ,,,,,,

Is this tank glass or acrylic and are there any scratches or overflows in it? It sounds like a great deal but as a display any scratches are going to blow the deal for me.

I wish I knew what I was doing when I started my 75g tanks. I got some sand between the cleaner magnet and the glass and scratched it right through the viewing areas.

I think all of us at some point, had one of the kids help us out cleaning the glass when we weren't around.....the sound of the sand digging into the glass like fingernail on a chalkboard....

if u get the tank u better have about 8 guys with u. i had 8 guys to move my 240g (8x2x2) glass tank. thing weighed about 600#.

Murph PM'd me last night. Apparently there is a lady that is supposed to look at the tank on Thursday. If she doesn't take it, I am hoping I can either go out Thursday or Friday to take a look.

Looks like that tank was sold to a lady in MI for a FW tank. Argghh what a waste of a nice tank! Better luck next time.
