400G - Full SPS reef from Poland

Hi Guys,

My name is Mark, Im from Poland.

I wanted to share my tank with You , its almos full SPS reef with pretty old corals, some of them are 4 Years old moved from my previous 100 Gal tank which was definitely too small, but after another year it looks like this 400 gal is also becoming to small and its happening too fast .

Its 160x150x75cm - 1800L = around 400gal
The most important 18 x T5 VHO 80W, BK300 and running on Zeovit system.

Very nice. How's the Auriga Butterfly with your corals?

Well to be honest this one is behaving like a tang, spending all time nearby my tangs, at the beginning I noticed it was interested in some corals but after some time this one is 100% SPS safe. Anyway its aiptasia professional killer! Absolutely outperforming anything I tried against aiptasias, now I do not have a single piece in whole tank.

How do the t5s do on a tank that deep? Do you get good par on the bottom?

Well to be honest I just turned on one small 250W HQI pendant to check corals reaction and it is just amazing. I will be changing lights as T5 is really not enough for corals in lower part of the tank. I`m thinking about 2 or 3 x 400W + some T5.

At the moment I use
Front 10 x t5 80W : ATI BP,BP,PP,BP,ASP,BP,PP,BP,BP,BP
Rear 8 x T5 80W : ATI BP,BP,BP, PP, ASP, BP,BP,BP
BP : Blueplus PP : PurplePlus, ASP - Aquabluespecial

Full spectrum around 6 hours, and I start from 11am - 10pm

How big will your next tank be?

I am not planning a bigger tank, to be honest this one is quite big.
