I have 3 MH Pendants at 400W each. They're HQI.
One of them had a connector where the ceramic and wire are fine, but the copper clip has disintegrated. I've ordered a new pendant and a new connector to repair the old pendant.
However, both will take several days...
I can temporarily solder an old bulb's copper end directly to the wire, and I don't think the temperature at the juncture will be so high that the solder joint would fail. However - since I've never done it before, I thought I'd ask...
What do you think? Will it work as a temporary fix for a week or so?
