40B adjustable flow pump size?

I'm looking for a SILENT power head with adjustable flow for a 40breeder. What would be an appropriate sized power head?

You could go with either 6055 or 6095. 6055 is less flow but more focused and could create a Gyre or ring current as the flow would hit and come back. 6095 would just fill the tank with a gentle flow.

Would either of these models be adjustable using 0-10v via a Neptune Apex controller? Would this require separate parts/cables?

Yes, you would need the cables from Neptune to make this connection.

All controllable ones, yes. They all have the same female plug.

All of the pumps termed "electronic" are controllable, 6055 and 6095 are electronic pumps.
