40g breeder swap

I was really into salt water tanks as a kid and decided to get back into the hobby about 7 months ago. I started with a 10g, then upgraded to a 20l, and I'm moving in a few weeks so I figured why not try the 40g breeder? I know, I should have gone 40 the first time, but what can I say? I'll post some pictures of the build up so far and pictures as I go with the new setup.

I currently have a holding tank that is 10g with a bare bottom and live rock from my 20. Its been running with a whisper 10 hob filter, a heater and a tiny cheap powerhead for about a week. This is where I will hold my livestock between tear down and set up at my new place.

Current tank setup.

So far I've had excellent luck with this tank.
I dose brightwell aquatics liquid reef and seachem reef plus twice a week. 5G water change every week with ro/di water and instant ocean salt mix.

The skimmer has only been running for a week now, bout it for the 40g but I couldn't wait. Still need to modify the intake pipe to skim the surface.

That's all for now. Post some old pics soon and the progress of the 40 as I move. Still very new to reefing so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
