450 Gal System with two skimmers ?

I´m planning to use my old 9020 and my new 9440 to run in the new system...

Is that OK ? will work fine ?

I run a 9020 in my large stock trough sump and an Euro Reef in my under that tank sump. They both produce just fine.

Some people running more than one skimmer set one to skim dry and the other to skim wet. The thought is that wet and dry skimming are each advantageous for removing a different balance of waste products.

With your 9020 you've actually got three skimmers: two on the 9020 and one with your new 9440.

It should work, I think in this case the skimmers would remove different things due to the bubble size and reaction chamber size.
