WOW!!! It looks like you plan to be here for a while! I hope you dont get any orders to drop! LOL...
Now you just need to fill the reef with corals!
It looks AWESOME! A true Dream Tank!!!
could you please give us small time reefers and idea of what a setup like that would run?
Thanks
Joel

total you are probably looking at $25000 for this setup. But i just kept upgrading tanks and acquiring equipment, then sell some equipment and buy different stuff. So it wasnt like I had $25000 sitting around and decided to buy a fish tank.

LOL...Its good to know. I want a dream tank one day, and your tank is above what I could have dreamed of! Hard work does pay off later! Great Job! So are your water changes going to be 45 Gallons at a time? Thats a lot of salt to go through!
LOL...

UPDATE TIME

UPDATE TIME

O.K. Dan time for an update. Is it all you wanted? Is it big enough? How long did it take to cycle? How's it running now? Fill us in........:fish1: :fish1: :fish1:

Yes the tank is big enough!! Enough right??? Well not if I had the money or space for something bigger! LOL If I was a millionaire this would not be big enough, I would want bigger but of course that is not going to happen working for uncle sam so I am more than happy with what I have. I really think this is the best dimensions, being 8ft X 3ft X 30" tall. I was able to get, in my opinion, awesome looking aquascape, with the depth and the height. I really did not have any cycle probably because I still had close to 500lbs of live rock from my 240 that never died off. Then i added another 100lbs of rock from Rob. Of course the sand got a little brown but that was it and it has gone away. It is running great, I just need some corals to start filling it up. So Dave what do you have?? LOL

I haven;t really posted new pics because I have not really added anything yet. Sohal is doing great, all tangs are doing great!!

No more like 1 time a month I will do like 80 gallons. I have never had a problem with nitrates so really it is just replacing the trace elements anyway and I have trace elements and a calck reactor working so that takes care of most of them
