450 here

I topped off about 6-7 gallons per day on my 300g stock tank with five 400w bulbs and a fan running at high speed.

I am estimating about 15 gallons per day on my upcoming 1100g system...I hope it is not more than that.

If things keep progressing the way they have been lately, then we will be ready in about 3 months most likely. Capncapo has been coming over 2-3 days a week working on the cabinetry and bringing his ideas. Lost Marbles added to the headaches though by convincing us to tear down a perfectly good wall to change the basement landscape some...so that is going to add another couple months of work:D

Right now the basement is a dusty mess after tearing out that firerock wall. I have a new 16g Ridgid shop vac courtesy of Mrs Nook to start the cleanup process.

Yep, he got me in a moment of weakness and then came over a couple days later...while I was feeding the FW tank he had already torn half the wall down....needless to say we were at that point committed to destruction.

John finally decided on a canopy design for his 450. He went with a basic design. We got it completely installed in less then 30 minutes. I think it might be alittle out of scale, but what can ya do......

I thought John might be trying to compensate for some type of shortage in his life when he bought the 450 tank. It was confirmed with his new drip tank.... I mean, can you just use a bucket like everyone else? Do you really have to always have the biggest??????

Wonder if John could have used a few more valves??????

That is one way to get John motavated to work on a desing for the hood ( use the one that goes on the tank he's buying ).

That is around 300# give or take I have around 200# more in the back. I think I will need more but I want to try mainly sps so you dont want alot of lr, more room for corals to grow. That is what I'm telling myself anyway.

Here is a pic of 1 of my clams

Not a good shot of a new coral

The lights are off in the tank so here is a shot with the moon lights.

Here is the moon light itself.

I still need to scape but I just got 100# more live rock that needs to cure STINKY. So I think my grand total right now is around 700# total.
I will add that and see how much more I wil need.
