45gal reef tank, no sump, no filter, Aqua C Remora HOB Skimmer

Lmao that's sad, but hey it is rewarding looking at those clean tanks, I don't clean the sand either, I have queen conch, a bunch of snails and a twin spot goby, great for the sand but a pain in the butt (it killed my plate coral) oh well

I just got in a bunch of snails yesterday and half of them are dead. Crazy puffer. I'm changing over my 29 from brackish to marine and he is going in there. The water changing routine is honestly just
Comical at this point. Hopefully it will get better when I set up the sump

Yea sump always helps, but it is another hassle, I will keep my regimen into something fail and then I will figure out something else

If you run an ATO you limit salinity swings if you supplement with trace + alk + Calc you replace the nutrients from water change and then some. Seems covered to me. Miguel can u send me dem supplement pics. I was thinking of running ATO with kawklwasser (sp). Any experience with that? I would have a ph and no overfill failsafes running through my reef keeper.

Running for 10 months, only live sand, rocks, 2 wp10, and an aqua c remora hob skimmer, no water changes yet, will do when I feel like it. Clean the glass every 2 days.
Fishes: 2 clowns, 2 fire fish, yellow tang, twinspotted goby, Midas blenny, royal gramma, green mandarin, cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp, serpent starfish, a bunch of snails and a queen conch
Corals: lps, 2 softies, 1 sponge and 3 sps

Beautiful tank, but why did you forget your Cherub Angel and yellow tang?

No experience with anything like that Johnny, my method is been working for almost a year now and am sticking to it lol, this is all I use [

Yeah i had a blenny that one day just started eating my acros. Had to tear my rockwork up, chase him down and donate him to the LFS

Sucks when they start doing this stuff from nowhere, but oh well I think that's the beauty of this as well, we never know what to expect, we can imagine or have a very strong idea of what's gonna happen but never a 100% sure everything is gonna go as we expect it to, (what would be the fun on that)

Miguel, thanks for the pics! How often do you dose those supps and do you use tests or probes to monitor ph. Also what tests do you use in general (brand/type)? I'm a newbie!

I use api for all my testing, well alk and calc, I don't test anything else, not even ph, I dose 10ml (1cap) alc every other day and calc 10ml (1cap) every other week, Kent marine once a week, reef plus 2 caps twice a week and coral frenzy twice a week as well
