Do chromis need to be in 3s or something?

The Blue Green Chromis are great fish as they are pretty active in the tank. Thay are part of the damsel family so they have a bit of "psycho" in them but unlike other damsels they pretty much just beat up on other chromis.

Some people have no problems with more than one and in fact they love to shoal. The problem is if one is slightly smaller than any of the others, he will get picked on until he dies. You could potetnitally start with let's say 6 and end up with 1 in just a few weeks.

There have been numerous studies done and nobody can really identify why this happens in an aquarium. Some people have no problems at all while others have major issues.

It's all luck of the draw I guess.

Lmao jajajajaja oh boy I do remember my gf telling me not to buy chromis, at the beginning I did buy 2 of them and put them with clown fishes and everything, we'll let me tell u am glad it was at the very beginning and it was only rocks and sand and a couple fishes, because I got home at 9pm from work and spend from 9 to 2 am trying to get those ****ers out of the tank because they were butting and following every other fish in there, we'll never again I have buy a fish without doing my research first lol, Johnny I will post some pics tomorrow of my set up if I get a chance

Awesome bud thanks. I like the ship in a bottle [emoji6] nice touch. what kind of powerheads/wave makers are those (I assume that's what those white/blue control boxes with green n blue lights are? Also wats that black control box?

I also like how the aqua c has an in tank box covering skimmer intake/output, it makes it look like an overflow box. Yes it has a larger footprint then if it just had intake output but it's sleak

I have the same skimmer on my 90g with the drain tube! If it ever slows down run pure white vinegar though it and it's brand new.........

Thanks uncle I had to do that already once and it worked like a charm , Johnny those are wp10 jebao, and the black box is for the lighting, the black box it works really neat to clean the top surface and stop the bubbles, my pump is kinda tiny so it does not work perfectly to skim the top layer, but it does what I wanted for lol

Btw I have all my equipment now (plus some extra I may not even be able to use due to power consumption as I went a little overboard on the spending [emoji6] ). Finally my permanent tank will arrive on wed/thursday and that's when I will set everything up and start my cycle! I went with a deep blue professional 50b. So excited!

Btw, have you ever had any leaking/flooding issues with your hob skimmer?

I have the remora as well, and never once has it leaked. Mine doesn't work well because my tank is too big and too high of a bioload but it does alright. When I finally finish connecting my systems together I have a aquamaxx that I will use but I'm not going to get rid of the remora because I'm sure it would do great on a 40 gallon tank and it's good to have around just in case. It really is foolproof, plug and go

This guy keeps amazing me, he's freaking awesome, I been having trouble with a dwarf angel bullying everybody else for the last week, but last 2 days seems to be doing fine, wanted to take out Monday, but everything seems fine, so am really confuse now lol
