I had to cut into my canopy to make this fit since it is not exactly 48 inches. I also had to route into the side of the wood where the fan is so the air could get out.
Other then that this is a nice light but I wish I had gotten the blue night lights instead of the white. Also, one of the bulbs came broken but this site replace it in short order.

I had a representative give a demonstation of a bank of 4 t5's a a 400 watt metal halide fixture and the t5's were brighter. T5's cost less to run, and the colors are great. NO brainer!
Con's: Fans are a little noisy.

Very bright light but the fan is noisy.
Has this issue been resolved? I'd really like to order.
