like it says, give more information.

as you presented it its an all situations answer, if, the laps are close over a shallow tank, probably yes, if high over a deep tank not so good.

I have had excellent results with VHOs over colts, but they were close to the corals.

Your lights are good enough for softies. you can feed if you like to. they will also feed on the nutrients in the water column.
