5 month old reef tank

I've been doing this for a little while, i've learned a whole lot and this is what my tank is looking like after about 5 months, it's a 30 gallon tank. There is about 37.5 lbs of live rock (assorted types) 15 different corals and a number of residents.

(yes i know tangs are a bad idea for a 30 gallon, but its a baby and i'm gettin a 76 gallon in the near future.

after the 10k goes off, this 15 watt flourescent comes on for 30 minutes until actinic take over then the lunar LED's.

Josh,

To make u tank look nicer i would take the srcaper and in the front of the tank u can see the algae in the sand bed just scrape down there and u would be amazed on how much that makes the tank look nicer just a suggestion i do it to my tanks all the time it makes them look so clean and nicer

nice looking tank. You will have to upgrade even more to keep the tang. a fully grown hippo tang can get to around a fott and will not be happy in a 76 gallon
