50 Cadlights/Display Refugium Build

Borchers

Reefer Who needs Help!!!
Well here it goes. Here is the build that's been in progress for about 1 1/2 years. Hehe.......crazy.

I picked this up in 2015 after the MARS Swap in San Jose. Here are the plans: 50 Gallon display connected to a 25 gallon display Refugium all plumbed together. These will run side by side with one controller and large skimmer. So as follows are the equipment and specs,

50 Cadlights Artisan II on Piano white stand
25 Gallon Mr. Aqua rimless with drilled overflow on furniture grade stand with Glass holes overflow kit
Ecotech Radion Gen 4 pro over the main ans Gen 3 pro over the fuge
Ecotech MP10QDx2 and 1 MP40W
Apex running Salinity, PH, Temp, WXM, Autofeeder, PMUP, Overflow sensors and such. All run on a old iPad all mounted in custom cutouts
Vertex Omega 150 with Vertex neck cleaner and Davy Jones skimmate locker
25 gallon Cadlights sump
Jebao return pump
NextReef Reactor
BRS 1.1ml dosing pumps dosing Mag, Alk and Cal (might convert to nano cal reactor)
Fluval Heater x2
Custom rock sculpture x2
Macro Algae in Refugium
BioPure Blocks
2 inch sand bed

Mixed Reef all around with the good stuff. Zoas, Palys, SPS, LPS

Pictures to follow soon.

Looking foward to following this build. I will be interested in how you like the new radion and if you like the vertex neck cleaner and avast locker setup.

Cool, but i think it will be too much flow using all mps pump and waste the Gen3 for the little sump. I rather trade the Gen3 for a better return pump and trade the jebao for a kessilfir sump light.

I have a Kessil 350 and Kessil 150. As for flow. One MP10QD is for the display refugium and the other Vortechs are for the main display tank. As for a return I would have loved to go with a Ecotech return pump but don't have 400 to spend on one right now

Here is the display refugium
