500 Gallon Build

I've already crossed shrimp off the list for this tank...

Based on if I do add the two angels I want, I'll see what coral will need to be nixed...

Here a quite a few pics from this morning when the lights were starting to come on. I am very happy with the algae scrubber downstairs, that thing is keeping the tank very clean, and I can see a reversal of the algae that was starting to grow. It has been one week since my lanthanum chloride treatment so I am curious to see what the phosphate levels are at now from 0.00 Water clarity has gotten a couple notches better yet too in the last couple of days.

And there it is still 0.00. I take it my scrubber and vinegar combo got it handled. I just throw cubes right in there to and let er go. Zero glass cleaning now I love it!

Great pics! :)

Thanks! That long tentacle started to disintegrate himself into a slimy blob so I pulled him out and trashed him. I noticed his foot had a lot of white on it when I put him in the tank and I figured it was some of that foam block in the bag with him but I think it was not as he never attached to anything and would not open up. Not sure how his foot got damaged :(

Ugh that stinks :(

Guess the Polyfilter could have aggravated it...

Emailed you over a credit for the anemone a few minutes ago :)

Starboard? Are you refering to eggcrate? No need for it. Bare bottom is the way to go for me, so much cleaner. I am local to the tank manufacturer so I just picked it up.

Looks like Im selling my good size male swallowtail angel. Had one hell of a time getting him out today after adding him yesterday from quarantine. Beat up my watanabei pretty good and would not let off. Finally got him!

Impressed with the build man! One day, I hope to have a tank large enough to require me to jump in to catch a fish! Keep up the great work!
