5017 no power?

My 5017 stopped working today. There are no led's illuminated on the display. Is there something I can check? or does it need to be sent in? thanks

The most probable cause is a dead power supply. Do you have a voltmeter or test light you could check the output of the power supply with? How old is the unit?

yes, I can check voltage. Its probably 2 years old

looks like you were right. I have another power supply laying around. I was wondering if was ok to use?

The output is 9v 400ma

You need a power supply that is 9-12V DC tip positive and at least 1000mA at 9V or 1200mA at 12V.
