5017 Osmolator Too high alarm/light on

My osomolator is sounding alarm and constant light on "too high". The display also occasionally flashes the "too low" light at the same time.

The float switch seems free to move.

The osmolator is a couple years old (5017) and worked in the past near my Eheim 1262 pump in the return section of the sump so I don't think magnetic interferrence is the cause.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Could it have gotten wet? That is the usual cause of this issue.
