Thanks bud, yea they are dope. Cant wait for them to grow out, and to get more haha. Get the tunze osmolator universal (the one with the optical eye). Thing is an absolute beast. So freakishly accurate and reliable. Many safety backups as well. Comes with a pump. So worth the little extra dough.Looking real good Johnny! Amazing corals! I really need to get some from vivids soon! I just need to get an ATO going. It's the only thing stopping me from getting more corals. I lose like 3-4 gallons a day to evaporation.

Stock pump definitely doesn't go that far, but can easily switch it out. It's designed to be pump interchangeable. The optical eye/controller alone is worth the price. How far does it push water? Cuz I have no room in my stand, so I want to put a 30 gallon brute about 18-24 feet away in another room.

Yea, the 3155. I just double checked though and although you can use any pump, you have to buy a switch socket outlet converter (for 68.99 from tunze). It may be possible to DIY that but I'm not sure. I was under the impression that you just plugged in another pump.....my bad.Alright thanks again Johnny! I'll sif I can go with that and just switch the pump out. It's the 3155 right?

Now your talking 260 plus the new pump, kinda steep haha. I do think it's the best though.
This about sums it up:

What others have you been looking at? Ive heard the elos and avast marine ones are good as well. Not sure about pumps though. Basically anyone that doesn't only rely on float switches is the way to go.[emoji106]
Btw, how on earth do you lose 3-4 gallons a day from evaporation? My 7 gallon ATO reservoir lasts a week easy, and my tanks 10g bigger!
Hey bud, thanks! I chose to go with dry rock because I didn't want to see any of the random stuff that pops out of live haha. I want as much control as possible as to what enters my tank. Don't get me wrong, all the good hitchhikers are awesome, but not worth the risk of bad IMO. My primary focus is coral and fish that I choose.Excellent build! I'll be following along. How come you chose to go with dry rock instead of just using live? Sorry if I missed it. I just love seeing what random stuff pops out of live!
[emoji106]I had the same thinking. If I want surprises, I go diving![]()
Isn't that just essentially two part and trace minerals? You only need good params, a spore of coralline, and patience [emoji6] Only had a little on some frags added within the last month so hoping in the next few it'll be rockin.Beautiful! Don't worry man coraline will come. Just add Kents purple tech every day and you'll be on your way to have coraline.

Yeah, sometimes people want it to come on more quickly. With my rock so covered in other stuff it's hard to tell where or even if there is any coralline on it lol. Isn't it fun? Lol
