I now have 44 frags/mini colonies [emoji48] :

I expect to lose some along the way, and since I'm nearing a frag/gallon, I will likely be fragging/selling some as well. What I can I say, gotta catch em all[emoji12] .

Haha this cracked me up!!! :lolspin: :lolspin: :lolspin: :lolspin: :lolspin:

Nice to see you finally got a fish!
You're getting all your frags first and I'm getting all my fish first haha jk

Haha yea, nothing wrong with that. I've been wanting fish for a long time but prefer TTM over copper and my work schedule simply did not allow me to do TTM until now. Now I work from home full time, so the fish are coming!

New FTS, slowly mounting frags, going to take shape soon! Lights JUST at full bore today and my alk consumption has already doubled in the last week! Growths a comin[emoji106]

Come on man where the heck are the fishes????? Lmao glad to be back and seems like u has make tremendous advance on your tank

I wouldn't go with a diamond goby. They are like hit and miss in a reef tank. Especially if your frags are on the sand bed. I thought about getting one but then I figured no because I want to keep coral on my sand bed. And then the bad diamond gobies are the ones that carry sand and then swim to the middle of the water column and release the next dessert storm lol I've actually seen that happen lol

green clown goby would be cool! Never seen one in someone's tank before!
Well whatever you get, it's probably going to be good because you get the good stuff lol

I didn't think of that, gracias. Most of my acans will be on the sandbed so nevermind. Maybe a yellow watchman, or there was a sweet baby yasha hi fin at my lfs but I think they are hard to keep alive (don't remember where uve heard that). The court jester is a really cool fish as well. I'm not set on anything yet however, so definitely open for suggestions!

hey johnny i dont remeber if i ask u already, but what settings are your two wavemakers at? am having the worst time ever with mine lol

Well, I actually have 2 Vortech MP40WQDs now, no longer any jebaos (atleast in my display tank, I use one in QT and still have another).

I run the vortechs paired up on reef crest in anti-sync mode. so when one ramps up the other ramps down, gives a nice back n forth tide action while still maintaining random flow from both via reef crest.

sounds fair, am getting my second rw-8, will look into votech once i upgrade this one, any tips for the sand? keeps getting dirty lol

Higher flow usually keeps detritus suspended rather than accumulating on the sand. Obviously you don't want sand blowing around but in my tank the flow will literally pick up left over Mysis from the sand after I turn the pumps back on. Some people siphon or stir the sandbed but it can cause problems if you don't do it consistently, especially if you haven't done it before. I'd do some research if you plan to try that.

First fish in the display, ol standard juvenile ocellaris (one didn't make it but I'm getting a replacement after thanksgiving).

I also got some new frags

From left to right: WWC Rainbow Sakuras, WWC Bloodsuckers, Daisy Pinwheels
