540 g for sale in charlotte nc

Well, he is softening. I've followed your thread all the way, cmulawka. I'm so impressed with the craftsmanship and setup it was gorgeous. I really got a kick out of the tank with fish...the Naso looked about the size of a damsel! Hubby is softening. This is my 31st year in the hobby and I've always dreamed of having a really big tank...of course, we were talking a 300! A 375 came available and we thought we purchased that, but the seller backed out on us. So, yes we are very interested and are going over our options and the feasibility....that's a huge tank. Keep your fingers crossed for me Christie!!!!

"I am very, very serious about getting a hold of your tank..."

Oops, sorry, Blue Carpet. I somehow skipped that part. Don't want to step on toes as you were first in line. Just looking and figuring at this point.

Hey Marcye,
I bet lots of us on here would be glad to donate some LR to fill that beast, as long as we could come and look at it!

Heck...why stop with looking, you could probably come swim in it...lol!!! Thanks for the offer! You are very sweet!

marcye...I would highly recommend getting this! I need a place in orlando to scuba dive!!! GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!!!!!!

OMG!! We could have snorkeling parties in my living room!!! You know who will be in there setting up rock, don't you? Oh, Franchesca!!!!! That is the most awesome pic I've ever seen! I've got to go get Tom and show him this!!! Just, wow!!

Okay, some questions:
1. What are the exact dimensions with stand and canopy?
2. I noticed in your build thread that there were some scratches when you moved it in...were you able to remove those? That is my one concern...scratches. I have a friend with a large acrylic and the scratches take so much away from the appearance. I was going to go with a smaller tank just to be able to go with glass over acrylic.
3. Are you selling the tank because of anything to do with craftsmenship?

My biggest concern is getting this monster in the house. Our entry foyer has another tank setup and I'm not sure if we can get it in past that.

Marcye, that will fit through my doors with no problem. You can keep it at my house if you would like.:D

ok the tank has ONE!! scratch about 2 inches long on the bottom is is really fine and I just havent had the time to buff it out but i will buff it out before you buy, other than that it is in perfect condition. the tank is 96x36x36. With the canopy on the whole set up stands 7ft 3inches tall. The stand will not fit out of my door way complete. I will have to take off the top ledge there will finsishing nails along the bottom that you will have to hit back in and dab a spot of paint over. It is really simple and if you own a hammer or know someone that does they can attach for you. Other than than that those are my only concerns. Bulkheads stand pipes it will leave in the overflows and the plumbing underneath coming from the tank I will leave that includes 2 clear check valves.

I decided to put the tank on the stand with the scratch in the front so i could some day bufff it out because it killed me that we got it in besides that. The back of the tank is not painted there is just a peice of 1/4 wood painted blue sitting on the ledge for a backround.

Lol, If you still have this tank at then end of march, I will be working in Cornelius. Maybe I could scope it out for Marcye...lol
