Thanks all in Advance,

Too tall and too narrow for my tastes. Looks like acrylic. Not sure what you could get for it. If it's in good condition you could get 4-5 hundred for it?

Tanks are like cars, the second they leave the store their value drops tremendously.

Edit: NM, looks like glass. Very heavy but better staying power.

It is actually Glass 6ft x3ft W x 4ft. Glass is about 3/4 - 1 Inch Thick.
Water tight and cannot see green on glass so dont know if Starfire or not.
Was a display tank for a seaaquarium before :)

Guys I got it Free... I cannot set it up as i have a 50 gallong cube i am putting together and this is huge. What is it worth as i can sell it and help fund my 50 cube :)

Free is a good deal, but as I posted before you'd be lucky to get 4-5 hundred for it. It can't be shipped, it's a huge, heavy tank that will be insanely expensive to set up and equip.

^ Good Idea Borderreef... Im sure the glass alone is expensive as Glass Cages sells the glass very pricey..

I have a 4' tall tank and for a fish only tank its great. Someone will have a use for it. Start at about $1000 and see what happens. You can always lower the price.

for $1000 that tank is going to sit for a while and with those dimensions it takes up a lot of space.

if you got it for free, throw it up for $540 ($1/1g) and let it go to the first highest offer.

As stated above most used glass tanks will go for about a dollar a gallon.
It looks like it was plumbed with the feed on one side and returns on the other and the four holes across the bottom were for closed loops.

Someone in the area may be looking for a big tank. Start high and somebody may offer 750 and he makes some extra cash. Price that tank new and you'll see that its probably at least 3000. You can always lower the price after a few days if you get no offers.

This is true on smaller tanks but with the extra thickness the price goes up. I looked at glass tanks before I went with acrylic.

Any leaks???
If so it would make a great lizard cage.
If not a great tank. either way no less then 750.00 or a 1,000 for a tank.
looks like 3/4 not Starfire. if it is 1' thick then it is rated for public aquarium use.
If you were to buy it new you would pay no less then $2,200 and additional shipping cost! it is not every day that a tank on the this size is
Fill her up check for leaks and check the the glass.
Closed loop on a Ocean Motions 4 way.

that tank would make the best sump ever for a 50g cube! I cant seem to think of another use for it though
