54gal HOB skimmer recomendations....PLEASE??

I have a 54gal corner bow and need to upgrade from my crappy Prizm. I have been looking at the Reef Octo 800s, but now i'm realizing that i may not need something that huge to keep my system clean. I am planning on quite a heavy bio-load, and really want to overskim, but is something that big really necessary? I am pretty much open to any name brand of skimmer. Any and all into is much appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I have an Aqua C remora pro with an overflow box in the tank. It works a treat.

Ive been using an ATB multi for the last week and so far it is my favorite hob. Hopefully it keeps working its magic

WOW! I wasn't really looking to dump 600+ into a skimmer. I sure wish i could've gone with the sump route. It looks like you can get much better skimming from the in sump models for a better price, and there are so many more options! Please keep the suggestions comming. Anyone using the Reef Octo 300f? Not the dual?
