55 For Sale Questions

I have a 55 gallon system that has been in continuous operation for over 12 years as a Berlin system (use only powerheads in the tank - no sump, no skimmer etc...) that I may be interested in selling... Before that I ran it with a very underrated skimmer for 4 years. Like the ease of no skimmer better and results are the same. Have always run with just tap water as well. This tank is as low maintenance as it gets!

It will include a nice stand and partial top...

Lights - Tek t5 light fixture - Sunlight Supply... 4 bulbs

3 powerheads

Clown, Tamini Tang sp?, snails etc...

Live Rock (it's been so long I do not know the poundage), it's enough that I had to remove some to add more corals...

Quite a few corals - shrooms, pipe organ, green tree, palyathoa grandi sp?, Cabbage, star polyps, etc...

55 gal aquarium (personally because they are cheap I would get a new one, although this one is in great shape) to not risk any structural integrity in the move

I will provide pictures later but how much would this go for these days in your opinion?

Don't know if it makes any difference to you but 95% of all the corals you see in my tank, I grew myself. The brown palyathoa that you see that dominates much of the space started as 3 - 4 polyps and now are well over 100 plus, same with the shrooms etc...

This tank once again is as low of maintenance as a tank can get. 1 gallon water change per week plus daily top offs with tap water plus water purifier drops. No sump, No protein skimmer for years. I do use the slurry method with pickling lime about every other day. Feed fish about every 2-3 days and that's it - other than wiping the glass off etc...

Supertech99,

That's what you get with a 12 year old tank when you try to keep your hands out of it! :-)

The majority of the rock I aquacultured and now you can't even see most of it!

Anyone else have an idea on what a reasonable asking price would be for my tank?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
