55 gal sump design help!

Hi,
I've got (2) 55 gal RR display tanks that I want connected to one standard 55 gal tank as a sump. I was originally thinking of using one of the RR tanks as a huge refugium, but now I'm thinking of doing a seperate SPS and softies tank. Any suggestions how to set it up? I have an ASM G3 skimmer, and a Mag9.5 and Mag12 for return pumps.

Each 55 has their drain goto the sump. Then use one pump in the sump and T it off to feed both tanks returns. Is this what you are asking? As far as specifics would have to know stand configurations.

I would do one return pump.. easier and don't have to deal with heat issues.

Hey, that's a good idea. I didn't think of teeing the return. I guess I could use the other pump as a cls.

As far as the stands, I'm building one now to house the 55 sump. It will be about 50lx20wx29h interior dimensions with an AGA 55 RR on top with an open back, and i have one right now that's being used on the other 55 that is setup right now as a mixed tank, and using a cooler as a temporary sump.

I'm mostly concerned on the best way to install baffles on the 55gal sump to house the skimmer, fuge, and return. I also have a 20gal long tank.
