55 gallon full setup and 125 tank/stand for sale

Okay... I need to get rid of these tanks. I purchased the 55 gallon thinking that I would use it as a frag tank... that didn't pan out. I didn't put any more use on the equipment than when I got it. The rock in it was crappy, so I sold it cheap and replaced with some slightly better stuff.


55 gallon setup... Asking $570, what I paid

55g AGA glass tank
20g sump
DIY downdraft skimmer (Hardly used...)/with pump
mag 7 return pump (looks and works new...)
2 nozzle modded mj 1200's (Older style pumps)
Auto topoff kit (I never used it...)

250w 14k SE Hamilton bulb,ballast,reflector
2 110w 4' VHO bulbs and ballast
(all lighting used for about 4 months when purchased, I added about 10 hours to them)

I'd like to try to sell it all as a set, but if I can get most of the stuff sold seperately, I will do it that way.

FWIW...

I would really like to get the 55 out of my apartment. It's just taking up space. All of the livestock is being held in holding tanks, so I can split up as neccessary.

Also willing to work on the price if you want it all/most of it.

Does the 125 have a builtin overflow?

No... I have a CPR overflow that I can sell with it though.

Feel free to make offers on the entire 55 gallon system or a large bulk of it. I want to get this out my apartment so that I can move on with upgrading my larger system! I really don't have a use for it and it would be a great quarantine/frag tank.

Can't tell you. It's some kind of DIY system, I never used it.

I think I'm going to hold on to everything until somebody just makes an offer to come get it all, I can sell it without the rock and lower the price a bit.

I just don't have the space for this system. If you think that you might, let me know.

Here are some pictures of the setup that the previous owner took. I purchased this from him when he was in need of money for $570.

I'll take $400 for all the equipment without the rock and sand.
Tank, stand, canopy, lighting, skimmer, sump, ATO, maybe some other stuff too. The lighting alone will get you near the $400 new.

Need a hospital/QT/frag tank... great buy.


Rock will be 2.50 a lb. I have 35-40 lbs. of rock.
