55 Gallon Sump Idea

ok Im not sure I can do this, so I better ask before i start. I got baffles today for my 55. I want to make 4 chambers so I can keep frags in one, and a refugium in the other. Let me know if this is a good idea or not. I am doing this because of limited space.

Not saying that it cant work. Just depends on what type of frags you want to keep. In a refugium you want to keep the flow as slow as possible. If you are keeping SPS that is not a good idea. You might be better making the refugium as BIG as possible and just putting one of those eggcrate frag things in your main tank.

I just feel like 36" is a huge refugium. guess I can add like rock also. I didint think about the flow.

The bigger the refugium the better.....
